GRADUATE OF KSMU, ONE OF THE DEVELOPERS OF SPUTNIK V, IS AWARDED WITH A MEDAL NAMED AFTER KOROTKOV

Governor Roman Starovoit presented the Medal named after Korotkov to Denis Logunov, a graduate of Kursk State Medical University, Deputy Director for Research of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology named after Honorary Academician N.F. Gamaleya” of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Denis Yurievich took part in the development of the Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine and was the first in the country to vaccinate, having tested it on himself.
