HAVE A SAFE NEW YEAR’S VACATION

In the framework of preventive work to promote and ensure fire safety, training and improving the training of the population to act in emergencies, according to the Order № 410 of 11.12.2023 “On measures to prevent emergencies and ensure safety during the pre-holidays and holidays of the New Year and Christmas” on December 15, 2023 in the lecture room № 5 of Kursk State Medical University held a meeting with students of the International Medical Institute of KSMU.

The meeting was attended by: T.I. Nabiev, senior inspector of the Department of traffic police in Kursk region, G.A. Alyabiev, senior state inspector of the Center of GIMS GU of EMERCOM of Russia in Kursk region, A.S. Gordeev, state inspector of the Center of GIMS GU of EMERCOM of Russia in Kursk region, N.V. Volokhova, specialist in fire prevention and civil defense of KSMU, employees and students of the first year of the International Medical Institute of KSMU.

In his speech T.I. Nabiev, senior inspector of the Department of traffic police in Kursk region, noted the main types of offenses and safety rules for pedestrians and passengers, gave statistical data on the number of violations of the rules on the roads of the region and the number of deaths for the past six months. He urged foreign students to observe the Rules and save their lives and health.

During the meeting, the foreign students were given a safety briefing, which they also received on their cell phones with the help of a QC code. General rules and requirements for fire prevention and actions of the population in case of fire in residential and administrative buildings were presented.

N.V. Volokhova acquainted students with the rules of using fire extinguishers, gas masks and other means of respiratory protection, showed a movie about the rules of evacuation from the dormitory.

G.A. Alyabiev, Senior Inspector of the Center of GIMS GU MES of Russia in Kursk region reminded the students about the rules of safety on frozen water bodies, showed a film about rescue in winter and advised not to go out on the ice. The students were also offered to try on a life jacket.

There is no doubt that preventive meetings of foreign students with employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and traffic police are necessary, traditional and contribute to the preservation of life and health of students.
