As part of the adaptation of international students to the new socio-cultural and language environment at the International Medical Institute of KSMU, an excursion to the Boeva Dacha city park was organized. This event allowed students to expand their knowledge about life in Kursk.
The students of the MMI KSMU were given a unique opportunity to practice their language skills with native speakers. While walking through the park, they communicated with local residents, asked for directions, described the sights, and shared their impressions. As a result, the students gained confidence in their conversational skills and expanded their vocabulary.
The teachers not only told the students about the traditions of outdoor recreation, but also about the history of the city, its natural attractions, including a botanical mini-tour. The excursion to the Boeva Dacha Park expanded the students’ knowledge about Russia and immersed them in the language environment.
