INFORMING INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ABOUT THE VOLUNTARY RESETTLEMENT PROGRAMME IN RUSSIA

In order to inform foreign citizens of the International Medical Institute of Kursk State Medical University on 19.04.2024 was held an educational meeting of Russian-speaking students of foreign countries on the topic “Participation of foreign citizens in the state programme to assist voluntary resettlement in the Russian Federation of compatriots living abroad”.

The meeting was attended by:

I.I. Tatarenkova, head of the department of resettlement of compatriots of the Committee on Labour and Employment of the Kursk region;

T.V. Alekhina, Head of the Department for Work with Compatriots, Refugees, Citizenship Department of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Kursk region;

Head of Visa and Registration Department of IMI KSMU N.N. Dyabina;

M.V. Dugina, tutor of the department of socio-cultural adaptation of IMI KSMU.

The event was attended by more than 40 students from neighbouring countries. The participants of the event received full information about the state programme on rendering assistance to voluntary resettlement of compatriots living abroad to the Russian Federation. The rules of participation in the programme, the importance and opportunities when students decide to participate in the programme, as well as opportunities for resettlement of their families were explained. International students received competent answers to their questions and thanked the guests for the meeting
