INNOVATIVE APPROACHES TO EDUCATION AT KSMU – IN AN INTERNATIONAL LEVEL

On January 28, 2021, in Ferghana (Uzbekistan) was held an international scientific and practical online video conference “Innovative approaches and current problems of teaching fundamental disciplines”. The conference was dedicated to the year of “Youth support and improving the health of the population”, and was conducted by the Ferghana branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy. The conference brought together scientists from leading educational and scientific organizations in Russia, Uzbekistan and the Kazakh-Turkish Consortium.  The following reports were presented from the Kursk State Medical University: “Modern opportunities of innovative technologies in teaching pharmacology at a medical university” by the head of the Department of Pharmacology, Professor Mal G. S. and “Formation and development of mathematical competence of medical university students in the process of e-learning” by the head of the Department of Physics, Computer Science and Mathematics, Associate Professor Snegireva L. V.

The purpose of the conference was to exchange experience and knowledge, expand opportunities for cooperation in the field of medicine and education, which corresponds to the objectives of the specific implementation of the strategic plans of the priority national project. The welcome speech was presented by the rector of the Ferghana branch of the Tashkent medical Academy, Republic of Uzbekistan, doctor of medical Sciences, associate Professor G. N. Sultanov, who noted that “education and science have always been and will remain the most important priorities of the state, associated with the long-term prospects of countries and influencing intellectual competitiveness”.

The conference program was very rich, discussing the main issues of clinical practice, problems of fundamental sciences and humanities, the use of modern innovative and communication technologies in education and medicine.
