International Students Visit the Kursk Police Museum
28th October 2024

KSMU Students of the International Medical Institute visited the History Museum of the Kursk Police at the Cultural Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RF for Kursk Region. The information and knowledge that students gain during their visit to the museum seamlessly complement the Russian language course program with elements of sociocultural adaptation.

Students who recently arrived in Kursk from Malaysia, India, and Maldives were interested to learn about the history of law enforcement in Russia. The museum’s chief curator, D.A. Azartsov, shared interesting facts about the Kursk police throughout different years, explained how to distinguish a counterfeit banknote from a genuine one, and how to properly cross the street at a controlled intersection.

In the end, the students participated in a forensic quest: they identified a criminal through fingerprints and a shoe print.
