Students and teachers of Kursk State Medical University, under the guidance of the Rector of KSMU Professor V.A. Lazarenko, took an active part in cross-country skiing for the Cup of the Governor of the Kursk region.
The participants of the competition had to cover a difficult distance of 10 km. The fourth in the finish line among juniors was a student of our university Bukanova Polina (1 medical faculty, 5 group). This is a very good result, considering that it was the first time she covered that distance.
Students and teachers of KSMU not only actively participated in the competitions, but also helped the organizers throughout the race. The teacher of the Department of Physical Education Yu.A. Shirkov entered the judging panel of the competition. Students of the volunteer group “Sport medical care” under the leadership of the senior lecturer of the Department of Physical Culture V.T. Voronina monitored the safety on the track, helped the judges in the starting area, assisted the organizers throughout the event.
Congratulations to all skiing lovers on a real holiday! We express our gratitude to the Administration of our university for the support and creation of organizational and technical conditions for sports. We invite all students to take classes in the sports and health sections of our university.
