Every year on September 20th, the city of Kursk traditionally celebrates City Day. In 2023, the ancient city of Kursk will mark its 991st anniversary. To commemorate this event, Kursk State Medical University, the largest university in the city, organized a unique outdoor concert.
The audience gathered in the student square, a picturesque architecturally landscaped complex on the university grounds. The clear warm weather and talented performances contributed to a lyrical atmosphere and patriotic unity among the audience.
The concert featured instrumental compositions, songs of different genres, and poems by local Kursk poets. They were presented by renowned performers from the KSMU Center for Creative Development, such as Vladimir Korzunov and Alexander Stepkin, as well as newcomers. Among the debutants was a student from Nigeria, Iheanacho Chidindu Chukwudirim, who performed the song “All of Me, All of You.”
