27th October 2022

Students of MedTV Center for Information Policy of KSMU Artem Seregin and Violetta Tutova took the 2nd place in the Interregional Contest of the Central Federal District “NO HORROR: anti-terror” (among the universities of the Central Federal District), presenting their project “Stop, terror!”

As prize-winners they took part in the NO HOROR: anti-terror forum, organized on the basis of Kostroma State University with the grant support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.

The forum brought together more than 150 students from the universities of the Central Federal District. Unfortunately, the threat of terrorism and extremism has recently gained considerable urgency. Young people received the necessary knowledge about ways to confront the threat, opportunities to save their lives and the lives of loved ones in emergency situations.

– The forum lasted three days. Its main topic is formation of a safe environment in student and youth communities. During this time, we mastered theoretical and practical skills, worked out modular tracks on the basis of the Military Academy of Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection. Participated in the staging of the terrorist hijacking, where we acted as hostages. All quests have been successfully completed. We also received interesting and much-needed information on security in the digital space, – comments Artem Seregin.

The students also visited Kostroma, an ancient Volga city, met with the rector of Kostroma State University A.R. Naumov, shared the experience of Kursk Medical University in creating and preserving a safe environment and received a lot of new impressions from an interesting student event.
