On June 26, 2021, events dedicated to the celebration of the Youth Day of Russia were held on the territory of Kursk. This year, the city administration has prepared a diverse and extensive program of celebrations, taking into account the current restrictions to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.
Sports competitions were held in the park “Boeva dacha”. Students of our university took part in the International Student Football Tournament dedicated to the Youth Day of Russia. The tournament was attended by mixed teams of Russian and foreign students from leading universities of Kursk.
Our athletes showed a sporty character and a cohesive game, which led to a well-deserved victory.
The head of the city Viktor Nikolaevich Karamyshev and the chairman of the Kursk City Assembly Alla Albertovna Chertova addressed the participants with words of greeting. Viktor Nikolaevich congratulated all the students on the holiday and presented the winner’s cup to the team of the KURSK STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY.
We congratulate the KSMU football team with gold medals, and the coach of the team Bobrovsky Evgeny Anatolyevich with the professional training of our athletes.
