KSMU international students attended the bright and unforgettable Martisor celebration in Kursk!
Martisor is a long-awaited holiday traditionally celebrated in Moldova, symbolizing the arrival of spring. The Moldovan community in Kursk showcased this tradition in our region in 2014, and since then, it has become a wonderful springtime tradition for the residents of Kursk.
As part of the festival, engaging workshops in the national style were organized for guests, where they could learn traditional crafts, as well as tastings of Moldovan cuisine that delighted all gourmets.
On the “Martisor – 2025” stage, we were entertained by the best artists from the Kursk region, the Republic of Moldova, and the Gagauzia Autonomous Territorial Unit, including Olga Varvus, Ion Moraru, Petr Petkovich, Stepan Kurudimov, Samson, and Yurie Buzhor. Their performances created an incredible festive atmosphere!
