On April 22, 2024, Kursk State Medical University hosted a meeting of undergraduate and graduate students of the Faculty of Biotechnology with the staff of the Innovation Center LLC “Biryuch”, located in the village of Belaya Vezha, Krasnogvardeysky district, Belgorod region. The company was presented by Marina Gerasimova, General Director of Biryuch LLC, and Daria Sanzharevskaya, Deputy Director for Strategic Management of Alekseevsky Branch of JSC “MC EFCO” in Belaya Vezha settlement.
Biryuch Innovation Center is the base unit of technological developments of the EFCO Group of Companies. It was founded in 2013, today it is one of the largest innovation centers in the country. Currently, the Innovation Center implements more than 20 projects in scientific areas: biotechnology, plant proteins, alternative sources and unmanned aerial vehicles.
At the event the questions of industrial practice on the basis of the Innovation Center with the prospect of further employment were discussed. The company’s management introduced future young specialists to the scientific projects implemented at Biryuch LLC, and also presented specific examples of career development of young specialists within the company.
