KSMU STUDENTS HAVE WON THE SECOND STAGE OF THE ALL-RUSSIAN COMPETITION OF THE STUDENTS’ WORKS “JOB TRAINING 2.0”

On July 28, 2020 summation of the second stage was held in the format of online conference.

Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Falkov V.N. addressed the participants. The Minister marked “Job Training 2.0” is the project which provides interaction of students, educational establishment and potential employers. The project supposes students’ works and job trainings as social elevator for young people”.

KSMU winners of the second stage are:

– 2nd year student of the General Medicine department Bandalak N.Yu. (supervisor is Head of the Physical Training Department, associate professor, PhD in Psychology, T. V. Nedurueva).

– 5th year student of the General Medicine department Tishina A.A. (supervisor is Head of the department of Polyclinic Therapy and General Medical Practice, associate professor, PhD in Medical Sciences N. V. Medvedev).

– 5th year student of the Dentistry faculty Perepelkina M.G. (supervisor is associate professor of the department of Surgical Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery, PhD in Medical Sciences Petrash D.A.).

The project of Bandalak Nina “Healthy Professional” is aimed at solving the case provided by the Regional Budgetary Healthcare Establishment “Center for Medical Prevention”. The project helps to preserve health of medical workers trough integration of different aspects of health value meaning basic characteristics of doctor’s personality. Further work and project implementation are to take place during Bandalak’s job training in the Regional Budgetary Healthcare Establishment “Center for Medical Prevention” of the Health Committee of the Kursk region.

Anna Tishina solved the case provided by the Kursk State Polyclinic №7. Anna organized there health school for patients suffering from bronchial asthma. She developed the program and conducted classes at asthma school. The student showed presentations and posters, taught how to fill in self-control diaries. At the end of each class patients received information notes. Educational program developed by the participant helps patients to control symptoms and reduce risk of disease exacerbation.

The project of Perepelkina Maria “Treatment of periodontal diseases in patients with diabetes mellitus” is aimed at solving the case provided by the Regional Budgetary Healthcare Establishment “Kursk Regional Dental Clinic”. It helps to preserve and maintain oral health in patients with diabetes. Advantages and disadvantages of each decision were compared. The “perfect choice” functionality was formed on the basis of these decisions. Offered solution helps to increase the effectiveness of periodontal diseases treatment against the background of the presented general somatic pathology-diabetes mellitus.
