The rating of “green” universities in Russia is the first rating of higher education institutions in Russia aimed at promoting environmental culture and implementing “green” practices in the activities of the country’s universities.
As part of their participation in the rating, universities provide questionnaires with the following information:
– General information about the university: Description of the university’s territory, number of employees and faculty members, student enrollment;
– Educational and scientific research activities, enlightenment, and formation of ecological culture: Educational activities, eco-enlightenment initiatives of the administration, student ecological initiatives, information coverage of the implementation of the university’s ecological initiatives, scientific publications on environmental topics, scientific research in the field of ecology;
– Activities to reduce the ecological footprint: Responsible waste management, energy conservation, water conservation, reduction of transportation footprint, responsible procurement, forest conservation activities.
The rating was calculated for the 2022 reporting year.

12th place in the overall ranking.
