On April 20, on the eve of the 77th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, a historical literary and musical evening “Man. Time. Cultural memory” was held at Kursk State Medical University.
The organizers of the evening were the Center for Creative Development and Additional Education, the Department of Dermatovenerology and the staff of the library of KSMU. The host of the evening was a 5th-year student of the Faculty of Medicine, Svetlana Voitina.
The speech of the employee of the military history Museum “Young Defenders of the Motherland”, a graduate student of Kursk State University Rupusova Darya Sergeevna was interesting and informative. She told about the museum’s exposition reflecting the history of the Great Patriotic War and about the fate of children and teenagers who fought, about the military glory of Alexey Chkheidze.
The speech of Associate Professor Tatyana Pavlovna Isaenko about the merits of graduates of the Kursk Medical Institute of the Department of Dermatovenerology in the Victory over fascism aroused great interest.
Student Novikova Kristina told about the first “fiery issue” of the 1941 doctors and read a poem by L. Agibalova “We will not forget, as in the terrible 41st.”
The event presented poetic works performed by the university staff and students: his works “Victory Day” and “Children of War” were voiced by the deputy director of the Center for Creative Development and Additional Education Oleg Veniaminovich Gorelik; G. Chepela “The girl Shuli had a childhood” – Anastasia Kiryanova (Theater Studio of the IFC “Asklepion”); O. Gorelika “Children of War” – Kristina Gapeeva.
An exctract from the novel “Brothers and Sisters” by F. Abramov was performed by Kristina Koroteeva (Theater Studio “Door to Summer”).
At the historical literary and musical evening, the musical composition “Mercy” presented by Ekaterina Kiseleva (Theater Studio of the Asklepion IFC) was performed.
The exhibition-installation “The Book will preserve memory” presented works of military subjects from the library fund and exhibits of the Museum of History of KSMU about Anna Iosifovna Kaplinskaya, a graduate of the Kursk Medical Institute, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War.
Such events enable to attract the attention of young people to the heroic past of our Motherland. The younger generation will comprehend the events of the heroic past caused by the immortal feat of our soldiers, partisans, home front workers, doctors and young defenders of the Motherland who won a fierce battle with fascism.
