MARCH 1 IS WORLD IMMUNITY DAY
1st March 2024

📌This date was established by WHO in 2002 with the purpose of carrying out educational actions about the peculiarities of the immune system.

📚The Department of Clinical Immunology, Allergology and Phthisiopulmonology of the Kursk State Medical University takes an active part in holding thematic conferences where issues related to immunity strengthening, influence of a number of factors and medicines (as well as dietary supplements) on the immune system work are discussed.

😡Factors that negatively affect immunity:
– prolonged stress;
– bad habits;
– irrational nutrition (starvation, overeating);
– deficiency of vitamins and microelements;
– physical overload;
– traumas, burns, surgeries;
– environmental pollution;
– uncontrolled use of medications.

What does a person need to maintain immunity?
1. A full healthy diet.
2 Stop smoking and drinking alcohol, reduce body weight. 3.
3. Careful attitude to his psyche, reducing stress levels.
4. Healthy sleep (at least 7-8 hours a day in a well-ventilated room).
5. Tempering (dousing and contrast showers, visiting baths and saunas). It is recommended to alternate between high and low temperatures.
6. Regular sports, a mobile lifestyle.
7. Taking vitamin and mineral complexes (after consultation with a doctor).
8. Timely immunization.
