NEW KSMU AGREEMENT ON SCIENTIFIC COOPERATION

On May 16 within the framework of summarizing the results of the All-Russian scientific-practical conference with international participation “Problems of public health, health care organization and pharmacy” in the Headquarters of public support of Kursk region the signing of the agreement on scientific cooperation between KSMU, National Research Institute of Public Health named after N.A. Semashko and the Council of young scientists of Kursk region took place.

Conclusion of this agreement was connected with successful demonstration during the conference of the experience of cooperation between KSMU and medical educational institutions both in Kursk region and other regions of Russia and abroad. The participants from Saratov, Orenburg, Tyumen, Ryazan, Crimea presented their reports at the sectional sessions; several reports were devoted to the interregional research on studying the prevention of drug addiction and sexual infections among young people, conducted in Kursk and Voronezh regions; the partners from Gomel State Medical University of Belarus and Fergana Institute of Public Health presented their materials, and all of them – with references to the works of Kursk scientists.

Realization of the agreement with N.A. Semashko Research Institute of Public Health will allow KSMU both to be included in all-federal research projects and to be an initiator of even greater range of interregional scientific and educational projects. The research institute showed special interest in involving students in the research of the Department of Public Health, Health Care Organization and Economics of INO, which is devoted to youth health protection and has grant support. Now KSMU students will have to participate in the All-Russian conference in Moscow, which is scheduled for the fall.
