A musical and poetic event took place at KSMU, dedicated to World Poetry Day and in memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and the 90th anniversary of our beloved Alma mater.
Creative students from the CTR and additional education collectives, students from the IMI, and KSMU’s PhC, along with educators and staff.
The event was organized by the Department of Russian Language and Pedagogy in collaboration with the CTR of KSMU.
The musical highlight of the event was the performance by 3rd-year IMI student Aisha Fatima. She performed the song “Ah, War, What Have You Done, You Cunning One” to the lyrics of B. Okudzhava, and the “Ballad of a Mother.”
Creative students from IMI and KGMU recited poetic works including R. Rozhdestvensky’s “Requiem,” K. Simonov’s “Wait for Me,” T. Vityaz’s “To the Military Medics,” Yu. Drunina’s “The Unharvested Rye Sways…,” O. Berggolts’ “No One is Forgotten,” and others.
