The First Congress of ROSMEDOBR was held in Moscow from 15 to 17 of September. Rector of KSMU, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Deputy of the Kursk Regional Duma of the VII convocation, Honorary Citizen of Kursk Viktor Lazarenko participated in the event. The congress also includes the XIII International Forum “Innovative Educational Technologies in Medicine-2022” and the 1st Convention of the Russian Society of Medical Education Specialists. All forums are supported by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Tatyana Vladimirovna Semenova gave her speech at the opening ceremony of the event. Speakers at the Congress are leading specialists in the field of medical education, representatives of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Science, National Chamber of Medicine, Central Accreditation Commission, Federal Accreditation Centers, Federal Methodological Accreditation Center and Federal Center for Continuing Medical Education.
The congress discussed key issues of medical education and personnel policy in healthcare, including: staffing of the healthcare industry; targeted admission – planning of needs and organization; selection of organizations for training: what is the priority – prices or quality; use of advanced technologies in education and others.
They also talked about the issues of continuing medical education (this time – in close connection with periodic accreditation), technologically saturated medical education – the use of simulation, electronic and remote educational technologies; issues of organizing education, including economics, management of material and technical base, calculation of teaching load, planning, formation of curricula.
The topics of digitalization of healthcare and education, scientific activity, research in the field of education, publication, obtaining grants for educational projects, patent protection of results, scientific leadership were also covered, as well as humanism in medical education, mentoring and volunteering.
The ROSMEDOBR Congress is accompanied by an exhibition of educational medical technologies. Leading manufacturers presented simulators, mannequins and virtual simulators for modern simulation center equipment.
