At the conclusion of the cycle of visits to medical institutions of Central Asia the Head of Oncology Department of KSMU Associate Professor Khvostovoy V.V. visited Tashkent State Medical Academy on May 03, 2024, where he was received by Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Israilov Zhakhongirkhon Djamshidkhonovich.
TGMA is the largest medical university in the whole Middle Asia with 14 faculties, KSMU is a partner university, as evidenced by our emblem on the relevant stand. Vladimir Vladimirovich was guided on a tour with a visit to the rector’s office, international department, simulation center, as well as kindergarten for staff and students, where up to 60 children can stay while parents are busy.
Then in a large modern auditorium Vladimir Vladimirovich gave a report about KSMU and a lecture “Modern achievements in the treatment of oncologic diseases”. The speech aroused genuine interest, 15 questions were asked on quite different topics related to teaching, experimental and clinical oncology.
Teachers of TGMA said that they already heard about Vladimir Vladimirovich , listened to his reports and read his publications, also noted that they cooperate with Professor of KSMU Mal Galina Sergeevna and sent her greetings.
As a result, the TGMA staff expressed their gratitude for international cooperation to Prof. V.A.Lazarenko, Rector of KSMU, and expressed their desire to continue and strengthen cooperation
