On November 28, 2021, employees and young scientists of Kursk State Medical University took part in the Russian-Chinese online forum of young scientists “Recent Achievements in the Treatment of Cardiovascular Diseases – 2021”. The forum was held with the support of the First Hospital of Harbin Medical University, as well as the Association of Chinese-Russian Medical Universities (ASRMU), in which KSMU is included. The purpose of the forum was to improve international cooperation and exchange experience between young scientists from China and Russia in the field of cardiovascular diseases. At the plenary session, the Vice-Rector for Research Work and Innovative Development of KSMU, Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences Vyacheslav Aleksandrovich Lipatov and the Head of the Department of Pharmacology of KSMU, Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences Mal Galina Sergeevna gave their welcoming speech, having noted the importance of holding such events, as the exchange of experience allows to obtain relevant knowledge for their further application in their medical activity.

Obedkova Natalia Yurievna “Individual Characteristics of a Patient as a Key to the Prevention of Cardiovascular Diseases”, assistant of outpatient therapy and general medical practice;
Yastrebov Vitaliy Sergeevich “Modern Approaches to Secondary Prevention of Coronary Heart Disease in Patients with Primary Hyperlipidemia”, postgraduate student.
Ponkratov Vyacheslav Igorevich “Influence of Targeted Therapy on Subclinical Markers of Atherosclerosis in Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis”, assistant of the Department of Internal Diseases No. 1, deputy head of the education department of the International Medical Institute of KSMU.
At the end of the forum, an exchange of views took place on topical issues of modern pharmacology both in Russia and in China.
