RUSSIAN LEGISLATION WAS EXPLAINED TO FOREIGN STUDENTS

More than two hundred foreign students attended the meeting with law enforcers.

Such events are traditional for the IMI KSMU and are aimed at increasing the level of discipline of students, contribute to the knowledge of the laws of the Russian Federation.

In the IMI KSMU within the framework of socio-cultural adaptation of foreign students a preventive meeting of freshmen and students from near and far abroad with representatives of law enforcement agencies was held.

The meeting was attended by: Senior Assistant Prosecutor of Kursk region Pyleva E.P., employee of the center for counteraction to extremism and terrorism in Kursk region Nadeina A.V., head of the department of public order protection of the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia in Kursk Chinyakov V.S., inspector of the department of permit and visa work of the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia in Kursk region Lukyanchikova M.V., employees of IMI KSMU and more than 200 students of IMI KSMU.

Law enforcement officers highlighted for foreign students the questions about negative phenomena and prevention of illegal actions in youth environment, including in the Internet, responsibility for violation of law and order. The questions of migration legislation of the Russian Federation were explained to foreign students.

During the meeting, information was provided on possible types of fraud, including telephone and Internet fraud. Particular attention was paid to the prevention of and prosecution for common types of offenses among young people, including participation in unauthorized mass events, vandalism, hooliganism, use and distribution of illegal substances and corruption. The topic of observance of public order and punishment for its violation became particularly relevant.
