On September 30, 2022, a solemn meeting dedicated to Secondary Vocational Education Day, announced by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No.496 dated 25.07.2022, was held for the first time at Medical and Pharmaceutical College of KSMU.
The following honorary guests came to congratulate the staff members of the college: Deputy Chairman of the Kursk Regional Duma K.A. Komkov, Deputy Chairman of Healthcare Committie of the Kursk Region D.V. Sergienko, Chairman of the Kursk Regional Organization of Trade Unions of Healthcare Workers of the Russian Federation S.V. Okhotnikova, as well as members of the rectorate, heads of departments, academic teaching staff, teaching staff of the college, veterans and students of KSMU.
Vice-rector for Educational Activity and General Affairs V.P. Gavrilyuk opened the solemn meeting and congratulated the MFC team. In his congratulations, Vasily Petrovich noted the contribution of secondary vocational education in training of highly skilled specialists who are in dire need in practical healthcare of the Kursk region, pointing out the importance of the efforts of MFC teachers.
Сhief executive of OOO Garant Pharmaceutical Network, a graduate of the college E.A. Sidorova, highly appreciated the training of personnel for the healthcare system of the region. Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Staff Development and Training of OOO Trade House Nevis (St. Petersburg) A.V. Nemynova sent video greetings for the college.
The solemn meeting was attended by college veterans, who received letters of thanks from the Rector Professor V.A. Lazarenko and gifts from college students. Teachers of the college were awarded diplomas of Kursk Regional Duma, Healthcare Committee of the Kursk Region, Committee of Education and Science of the Kursk Region, Kursk Regional Organization of Trade Unions of Healthcare Workers of the Russian Federation, certificates of honor of the Rector of KSMU for contribution to the training of mid-level specialists and strong performance in professional activity.
The choir of college alumni, who are students of KSMU now, ended the solemn meeting, thus, having shown the continuity of the two stages of education – secondary and higher.
