February 16 at the Kursk State Medical University with the participation of the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Obstetrics and Gynecology ICE and Oncology an International Scientific and Practical Conference “SMART-Prevention Oncological Diseases in Gynecology”, held in a hybrid format.
More than 200 participants took part in the conference, including foreign scientists from medical universities of Belarus, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
Vyacheslav Lipatov, vice-rector for scientific work and innovative development of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of KSMU of the Russian Ministry of Health, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, addressed to the participants with welcome speeches.
The range of topics within the framework of the scientific-practical conference was extensive. The specialists presented reports on modern and widely discussed problems in the scientific community: on prevention and early diagnosis of oncogynecological diseases and breast cancer; on features of the course of precancerous processes and the influence of n-COVID-19 infection on their development; on the possibilities of minimally invasive technologies in the treatment and diagnosis of benign and malignant tumors; complex therapy of oncological diseases.
