SOCIAL PROJECTS OF KSMU NOTED THE REGIONAL COORDINATING COUNCIL FOR YOUTH POLICY

On January 29, was held an extended meeting of the Coordinating Council for Youth Policy in the Kursk Region. The deputy governor of Kursk region Yuri Petrovich Knyazev took part in it. The meeting was attended by the Vice-rector for Educational Work, Social Development and Public Relations of KSMU, Dean of the Faculty of Advanced Training, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor Alesya A. Kuznetsova.

During the meeting, the attendants discussed issues related to the activities of public and educational organizations. The volunteer work of KSMU students during the pandemic was particularly noted. From the very first days of the epidemic, a volunteer staff was deployed at the university, hundreds of medical students and residents were involved in its work. They helped the health system and residents, delivered food, medicines, personal protection equipment to all those in need, some of them were auto-volunteers, provided psychological assistance by telephone hotline during the pandemic. In addition, students of KSMU keep creating new social projects as well as join all-Russian actions. The work of medical volunteers is marked by state and regional awards and does not stop for a minute.
