On September 15, 2022, the Strategic Session on the organization of research in the field of experimental surgery and oncology was held. During the second day of the conference, the participants were given the opportunity to hear reports on the achievements of clinical and experimental surgery, oncology.
Special attention was paid to the joint work of student scientific circles of KSMU of the surgical profile. Professor G.E. As a result, the participants of the conference were able to join the research work in the field of interesting scientific areas.
The conclusion of the strategic session was a master class from the head of the SciCat research and production company, an employee of the Scientific Research Institute of General Resuscitation named after V.A. Negovsky Federal Scientific and Clinical Center for Resuscitation and Rehabilitation (Research Institute of General Resuscitation named after V.A. Negovsky FSCC RR, Moscow, Russia). The master class was devoted to “Methods of Catheterization of Main Vessels of Laboratory Animals in Biomedical Research”.
On the last day of the conference, on September 16, a practical sub-forum and overview briefings of the student scientific circle named after Professor G.E. Ostroverkhov were held, the designs of research projects on scientific topics were analyzed. Head of the Circle, Head of the Department of Operative Surgery and Topographic Anatomy named after A.D. Another mechanism for attracting students and residents to experimental research is the work of an elective course. It is attended by students of 4-6 years, residents and postgraduate students who have already chosen a certain research topic within the framework of their thesis and dissertations. Vice-Rector for Research Work and Innovative Development, Professor V.A. Lipatov took part in a meeting with young researchers, where he spoke about the criteria for assessing research activity using a portfolio and interviews.
