STUDENTS OF KSMU BECAME WINNERS IN THE INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIAD HELD IN TASHKENT

The International Online Olympiad among students of medical and pharmaceutical universities in pharmacology and clinical pharmacology on the topic “Healthy Lifestyle” was held on December 17-18, 2021 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan). The platform for the implementation of the Olympic pharmacological movement was the Tashkent Medical Academy. This year, representatives of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and other countries took part in the Olympiad.

Students from leading universities competed in knowledge of fundamental and clinical disciplines. Kursk State Medical University was no exception. The section “Pharmacology” was attended by 4th year students of the Faculty of Medicine. A student of the 1st group Perepechko Daria Dmitrievna took 1st place, a student of the 8th group Vanina Anna Alexandrovna – 2nd place, a student of the 1st group Alyabyeva Alina Alekseevna – 3rd place (supervisor – Head of the Department of Pharmacology, Professor G.S. Mal). The Olympiad was held in order to monitor the quality of student preparation in the subject, attract students to master deeper and more solid knowledge, identify and support talented and gifted students, as well as to develop creative thinking.
