On Sunday – September 4 – our glorious ancient and eternally young city of Kursk celebrated its 990th anniversary. Students of creative groups, ensembles and studios of the Center for Creative Development of KSMU took an active part in events at concert venues organized for the City Day.
In the new park named after Perekalsky (opposite to pedagogical college) vocalists of Harmony ensemble of KSMU, studio of pop and jazz vocals of KSMU “Drive”, our bards, guitarists Alexander Savinov and Ekaterina Kiseleva, our principal performer of Smile band ensemble, flute player Elizaveta Kurochkina appeared on the stage for Kursk people. Philile Surprise Maseko, a student of the International Medical Institute, inflamed the audience with her excellent vocals. Various compositions were performed, ranging from contemporary pop to Soviet songs, classical works and author’s acoustic music.
In the heart of our beloved Kursk – on the Red Square – a dance record of Russia was set: the most massive performance of the Kursk traditional Timonya dance, within the framework of the music ethno-festival “Timonya Fest”.
Our beautiful girls from the Folk Ensemble of Amateur Artistic Creativity “ENSEMBLE OF FOLK DANCE of KSMU “YABLONKA” took part in establishing a new dance record of Russia.
A concert “Stars of Student Spring of the Nightingale Land – 2022” was held on the Theater Square of Kursk.
Together with students of various educational institutions of Kursk, on the main festive stage, our students showed their talents – winners, Laureates of the regional festival “Student Spring of the Nightingale Land” – Irina Muzaleva, the soloist of the studio of pop vocals, performed a wonderful composition “From Dawn to Dawn”, Maria Babaskina, the soloist of the studio of pop and jazz vocals, sang a composition “Cancao de mar” for Kursk residents in Portuguese and Russian.
Vocalists from the ensemble of pop song “Harmony” of KSMU Alexander Stepkin and Nastya Rybina performed bright and beautiful compositions “Blue Eternity” and “Neglecting Gravity”.
Students of KSMU became a real decoration of festive events for the day of the city.
