STUDENTS OF KSMU TOOK PART IN A RALLY TO SUPPORT THE RESULTS OF REFERENDUMS HELD IN THE DPR, LPR, ZAPOROZHYE AND KHERSON REGIONS
30th September 2022

Hundreds of Kursk citizens gathered at the Teatralnaya Square of the regional center, expressing support for the results of the referendum held in DLPR, as well as in Zaporozhye and Kherson regions of Ukraine. Residents of these territories voted for joining the Russian Federation.

Our university was represented by the largest delegation  (about four hundred students, as well as members of the primary student union, voluntary people’s group of KSMU) headed by the Vice-rector for Educational Work and Public Relations A.A. Kuznetsova. Under national banners, flags with symbols of KSMU, they felt united with millions of compatriots. And again we are united by the Motherland!

There were patriotic songs. Speakers recalled the history of Novorossia:  how 150-200 years ago, the inhabitants of the Russian provinces massively settled these lands, creating

coal mining industry,  industry, infrastructure. Dozens of cities were built, many villages were founded. Their population has always considered themselves Russians. People who survived eight years of terror, no longer willing to tolerate the Nazi regime. On September 30, 2022, when the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions join the Russian Federation, they will become citizens of a great country again, will be able to speak their mother tongue without fear!

– Today, our students joined a mass rally in support of the peoples of Novorossiya, who expressed their will at the referendums. Current history is happening before our very eyes. We took part in a huge celebration where patriotism and historical justice prevailed. It is symbolic that during the rally, even the rain stopped! – said the Vice-rector of KSMU for Educational Work and Public Relations, Candidate of Psychological Sciences A.A. Kuznetsova.
