THE CONFERENCE “FROM MOLECULE TO SYSTEM ORGANISATION OF FUNCTIONS”

On 18-19 April 2024 the University hosted the II scientific and practical conference with international participation “From molecule to system organisation of physiological functions”, dedicated to the memory of corresponding member of RAMS, Professor Alexander Vasilievich Zavyalov.

The plenary session was devoted to the research in the field of physiology of motor activity, mechanisms of regulation of arbitrary purposeful movements.

At the first symposium, consisting of two tracks, modern issues of experimental and applied physiology in youth science were considered. Interesting reports covering epidemiology of cardiovascular and respiratory diseases in students were presented. Important aspects of visual and auditory perception, as well as the role of microelements in the regulation of physiological functions were touched upon.

It is noteworthy that this year two symposiums in English were held: “Modern trends in the development of youth science”, organised by the Department of Normal Physiology, and “Topical issues of obstetrics and gynaecology, clinical physiology”, organised by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of the Institute of Continuing Education.

In total, the conference included more than 50 reports, including young scientists and students from Moscow, Perm, and Tashkent.
