Museum of KSMU history, Department of Philosophy of KSMU, students – members of Student Self-Governance with the support of Trade Union of KSMU students held the next action within the framework of the project “Road to the obelisk” to take care of the graves of honored employees of the University.
As noted the rector of KSMU, professor Victor Anatolievich Lazarenko – “There are people who are never forgotten. Pages of history of Kursk State Medical University of the Soviet period are marked by honored representatives of university science and pedagogical skills, which requires a considerate attitude of younger generations”.
Nikitsky necropolis in Kursk is a chronicle of the city, where many famous Kursk citizens are buried. One of them was Grigory Pavlovich Pluschev (1901-1966) – a member of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks (since 1919); a veteran of the Civil War, during which he was severely wounded in the battles on the Don, which led to the amputation of both legs. From 1926 to 1930 he graduated from the All-Union Communist University named after Y.M. Sverdlov, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor. Since 1940 he worked at KSMI, headed the Marxism-Leninism Department from 1951 to 1958, after retirement he continued to work at the department until 1965.
