On August 29, 2024, KSMU welcomed a delegation from Uzbekistan: Sardor Abdusaimovich Shakirov, Dean of the International Faculty of the Ferghana Medical Institute of Public Health, parents, and new students of the KSMU International Medical Institute.
A tour of the university was organized for the guests. The foreign delegation was presented with the locations of the KSMU main building, the anatomical theater, the new KSMU library, the KSMU clinic, and the virtual clinic. The guests from sunny Uzbekistan got acquainted with the sights of the student campus and the student traditions of KSMU. The tour participants were amazed by the university’s infrastructure
The trip to the KSMU library in the Latin building on the new tram also surprised the guests. All members of the delegation enjoyed the atmosphere of the library and gladly took photos for a memento. But the virtual clinic, the unique equipment, and the high qualifications of the entire KSMU staff caused special surprise. At the end of the program, even the parents and the representative of the FMIPH noted that they would be happy to study again at our university.
