On April 6, 2021 the V All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference of Students of Professional Educational Organizations “Step into the Future” was held at the Medical and Pharmaceutical College of KSMU.
The purpose of the conference was to create conditions for the development of students’ research activities, to identify their scientific and creative potential, to provide a platform for the free exchange of opinions of all participants, as well as to promote professional self-determination.
The conference was attended by representatives of more than 40 professional educational organizations and specialized classes of secondary schools in the city of Kursk and the Kursk region, Orel and Tula, Belgorod and Stary Oskol, Yalta and Perm, Bryansk and Voronezh, Usman and Lipetsk. For the first time, the conference was attended by representatives of professional educational organizations of the city of Yekaterinburg, as well as Donetsk and Makeyevka of the Donetsk People’s Republic. At the plenary session, the Acting President addressed the participants of the conference with a welcoming speech. The plenary report “Volunteer activity as a phenomenon of professional growth of the future medical worker” was delivered by a student of the “General Medicine” department of the Medical and Pharmaceutical College of KSMU, deputy regional coordinator of the Kursk branch of the department “Medical Volunteers”, head of the department “Medical Volunteers” of the division of the All-Russian headquarters “We are Together”, curator of the direction “Medical Volunteers” of the volunteer unit of the medical and pharmaceutical college of KSMU “Bene facitis” (“Do good») Zolotukhina O. Yu.
The work of the scientific student conference was organized on 14 breakout sites. The participants were most interested in the following issues: modernization of the medical industry, organization of professional and preventive activities of medical workers, healthy lifestyle and risk factors for health disorders, prevention of negative phenomena in the youth environment, issues of youth policy and student self-government. The experts of the student conference summed up the results of the work and identified the best reports. An electronic collection of materials of the scientific and practical conference has been released.
