The Competition is held among students, undergraduates, postgraduates and researchers of educational institutions of higher education and scientific organizations at the age of up to 35 years old.
The founders of the Competition are the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent), the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property” (RSAIP) and the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO).
The competition is held for the purposes of:
– development and integration of educational and scientific activities in the field of intellectual property.
– promoting professional growth of young people in the field of intellectual property.
In 2024, the International Competition of Young Scientists in the field of intellectual property “Intellect” is held in four stages:
Stage 1 – registration and acceptance of applications (from 01.02.2024 to 31.10.2024)
Stage 2 – correspondence examination of scientific projects (from 01.11.2024 to 30.11.2024)
3 stage – placement on the RGAIS website of information about the candidates-participants of the Contest, selected for participation in the final of the Contest, the final of the Contest – defense of scientific works in the format of a speech with a presentation (until 15.12.2024)
Stage 4 – awarding the winners of the Competition at the Board of Rospatent (February-March 2025).
The winners of the Competition are the contestants who are awarded the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. The Contest winners are the contestants who are awarded the 4th, 5th and 6th places.
The winners of the Competition are awarded with a cash prize from 80,000 to 150,000 rubles. The winners and runners-up receive a certificate for educational programs implemented by RGAIS (50% discount on training).
