On October 9, 2024, new students from India and Sri Lanka embarked on an exciting tour of the Kursk State Art Gallery named after A.A. Deyneka.
Currently, the gallery is hosting a large exhibition by the creative association “Noy”.
In the main hall, students listened with interest to the curator’s talk, who shared the stories behind the creation of the artworks and highlighted the technical techniques used.
The students saw unique works of decorative art from Russian folk crafts. They were particularly intrigued by an element of national attire—the women’s shawl, which peasant women wore to complement their festive outfits.
For students, visiting the exhibition became a significant event in their new lives, and many confessed that it was their first visit to an art gallery. “We are confident that Russia and Kursk will reveal many more interesting and captivating places to us”
