On March 1, 2025, an introductory tour of the university was conducted for the students of The International Medical Institute KSMU who recently arrived in Kursk. Starting studies at a university in another country, it is very important to know crucial information about the university and its structure, as well as the rules and traditions that are accepted there.
V.A. Altukhova and A.M. Shumakova showed where the library, reading room, café, cafeteria, university administration, leading departments, gym, dental clinic, and the Research Institute of Experimental Medicine are located. The tour continued in the university courtyard, where there is a monument to the “father of medicine” Hippocrates, a memorial plaque to “Medical Service,” a sculptural composition in honor of Saint Luke, a bronze “Grade Book,” a student square, a “Reconciliation Bench,” a monument to the erythrocyte, a street “Chess Board,” and other memorials.
