XI ALL-RUSSIAN SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE WITH INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION “HEALTH AND DISEASE PSYCHOLOGY”

On December 2-3, 2021, the XI All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation “PSYCHOLOGY OF HEALTH AND DISEASE: CLINICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL APPROACH” was held at Kursk State Medical University.

At the event, organized by the staff of the Department of Health Psychology and Neuropsychology, the guests and participants of the conference were welcomed by: Vice-Rector for Research Work and Innovative Development, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Lipatov V.A., President of the Mental Health Union N. V. Treushnikova, Chairman of the Education Committee of Kursk S.I. Belkin, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Social Welfare of Motherhood and Childhood of the Kursk Region Kovaleva S.V., Leading Consultant of the Department of Higher Education and Science of the Committee for Education and Science of the Kursk Region Krygina O.S., Vice-Rector for Educational Work, Social Development and Public Relations, and acting Head of the Department of Health Psychology and Neuropsychology of FSBEI HE KSMU of the Ministry of Health of Russia, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor A.A. Kuznetsova.

The scientific and practical nature of the conference was realized in the work of two plenary sessions, scientific and innovative sites, sites for the youth symposium, and six master classes.

All conference events were held using remote technologies.

Leading scientists made presentations at the plenary sessions. Harald Mori – President of the Vienna Association of Logotherapy and Existential Analysis from Austria (Vienna); Khusainova I.R. – Candidate of Psychological Sciences, PhD from the Republic of Kazakhstan (Alma-Ata); Dmitry Litsov (Dmitrijs Licovs), Chairman of the Board of the VITALITY Society for the Psychological Support of Cancer Patients from Latvia (Riga); Bychenko I.V. – Researcher of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Mental Health from the Republic of Belarus (Minsk). A number of leading scientists from Russia (Moscow, Yaroslavl, Belgorod, Kursk, the Republic of Dagestan): Ognev A.S. – Doctor of Psychology, professor, Klyueva N.V. – Doctor of Psychology, Professor, Vasilenko T.D. -Doctor of Psychology, professor, Nikishina V.B. – Doctor of Psychology professor, Plotnikov D.V. – Dr. habil. med., professor, Sorokoumova E.A. – Doctor of Psychology, professor, Aliev H.M. – Academician of the International Academy of Technological Sciences, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Lukyanov V.V. – Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor, Shuteeva T.V. – Candidate of Medical Science, associate professor and others.

Questions were raised for discussion on the problems and prospects of interaction between medicine and psychology; sanogenic potential of group forms of psychological game modeling; psychological well-being of students; the importance of meaning for identity, autonomy and authenticity; the possibility of using the key method (syncromethod) in practical psychology; aspects of clinical, psychological and social support approaches in the oncological service; the role of modern psychopharmacology in mental health support; features of memory functioning and activity after the disease COVID-19.

The following issues were discussed at the second plenary session: personality traits in somatoform disorders, risks and psychological safety in the digital educational environment, the use of storytelling in the training and retraining of specialists in “helping” professions, the emotional state of teachers and students during the period of mass self-isolation, the relationship between social and psychological competence and emotional burnout of teachers in conditions of distance education.

More than 500 people took part in the conference: President of the Vienna Association of Logotherapy and Existential Analysis (Vienna, Austria), Academician of the International Academy of Technological Sciences (R. Dagestan), teachers of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi (Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan), head of the VITALITY psychological center (Riga, Latvia), researchers of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Mental Health (Minsk, Belarus), professor of INO HE “Russian New University” (Moscow).

Professors, teachers, postgraduate students and students of: Russian National Research Medical University named after N.I. Pirogov (Moscow), Kursk State Medical University (Kursk), NRI Belgorod State University (Belgorod), Yaroslavl State University named after P.G. Demidov (Yaroslavl), Moscow State Pedagogical University (Moscow), Kursk State University (Kursk), Chuvash State Pedagogical University named after I.Ya. Yakovlev (Cheboksary), leaders, teachers, psychologists of general education and special (correctional) educational institutions of Kursk and Kursk region, specialists from preschool educational institutions and additional education of Kursk, practitioners working in the field of neurology, psychiatry, neuropsychology, employees of the psychological service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Internal Affairs Directorate, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Federal Penitentiary Service.

Master classes are aimed at improving competencies in the field of differential diagnostic technologies, correctional developmental and rehabilitation training, as well as psychological counseling and support in various areas of activity of a clinical psychologist.

During the conference, an exchange of scientific achievements and practical experience took place on issues related to the relationship between health and disease in modern psychological science, the search for ways to integrate psychology and medicine, topical issues of clinical psychology and neuropsychology.
