YOUNG SCIENTISTS OF KSMU AT THE ALL-RUSSIAN CONGRESS “BOTKIN READINGS-2024”

Kursk State Medical University continues the tradition of highly professional attitude to medical and scientific activity bequeathed by S.P. Botkin and took part in the All-Russian Congress with international participation “Botkin Readings-2024” held on April 18-19, 2024 in St. Petersburg.

The Congress was organized by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the Government of St. Petersburg, the St. Petersburg Health Committee, the I.I. Mechnikov Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of St. Petersburg State Medical University, the Kirov Military Medical Academy, the First St. Petersburg State Medical University named after Academician I.P. Pavlov, the Russian Scientific Medical Society of Therapists, the St. Petersburg Botkin Society of Therapists, the Association of Therapists of St. Petersburg, the Association of Rheumatologists of Russia, LLC “Man and His Health”.

The Congress was held in face-to-face and online mode, which allowed several thousand physicians from all regions of the Russian Federation to continue their continuing medical education and development.

The scientific program of the Congress was designed for two days and included 2 plenary, 20 sectional sessions, 3 satellite symposia, one scientific discussion and the Sixth All-Russian Therapeutic Competition of Young Scientists named after S.P. Botkin. The Congress was attended by 29 participants from different regions of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus and Kazakhstan. It was possible to familiarize with the poster reports both in person and in the Internet system. KSMU was represented by Natalia Yurievna Obedkova, assistant of the Department of Polyclinic Therapy and General Medical Practice.
