President of Russia Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin signed a decree “holding the Year of Family in the Russian Federation” in November 2023. As follows from the text of the decree, the decision to declare 2024 the Year of Family was made “to popularize the state policy in the sphere of family protection, preservation of traditional family values”.
On March 28, the Kursk State Medical University held an event “Everything begins with a family: open microphone”. The guests of the “open microphone” were married couples of teachers and residents of our university. The event was attended by representatives of student youth, as well as – scientific and pedagogical staff and library staff.
Tatyana Ilyinichna Suryaninova, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of General and Clinical Psychology, gave an informative talk on conflict resolution in the family, shared effective ways of interaction with children, announced the rules of settling disagreements within the family.
Great interest of visitors was aroused by the speech of legal adviser of KSMU Zelenova Irina Vladimirovna: she highlighted the main complex of measures of state social support to families at federal and regional levels, as well as the organization of intrauniversity activities to support young families.
