On April 1, 2024 on the basis of the Tashkent Medical Academy (Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan) was held the II International Student Online Olympiad of Medical Universities in the subject “Clinical Pharmacology”.
Students representing: Tashkent Medical Academy, Kursk State Medical University, Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino, Samarkand State Medical University, Medical Institute of Karakalpakstan, Gomel State Medical University.
For participation in the Olympiad, the team of the Department of Clinical Pharmacology of KSMU prepared a team of five participants – students of the Faculty of Pharmacy. The scientific head of the team is Associate Professor, Candidate of Medical Sciences Kornilov Arsen Aleksandrovich.
The Olympiad included three stages: Stage 1 – solving test tasks on the Kahoot platform with fast time control. Fifteen students who scored the maximum number of points received the right to continue participation in the tests. At the second stage, students were randomly selected to solve a clinical situational problem with additional questions from the jury and subsequent calculation of points for correct answers; only the ten most successful contestants were selected for the third stage. The third stage was a three-question blitz (on the Zoom platform). The maximum number of points for the second and third stages was 100 each.
According to the results of persistent struggle, calculation of points, the First place was won by the 4th year student of the Faculty of Pharmacy Zubtsova Maria Sergeevna! The Diploma of the Third Degree was awarded to Orlova Elizaveta Andreevna! Three more participants of the Olympiad – Karnauhova Valeria Vladimirovna, Rogova Olga Vladimirovna, Onufrieva Anastasia Ivanovna – received certificates of participants of the Olympiad.
