On 9 April 2024, the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation “HEALTHY LIFE AND SPORTS PHARMACOLOGY” was held in the reading room of the KSMU library. The event was held in a hybrid format, combining face-to-face and remote participation through the ZOOM platform.
The objectives of the conference: exchange of scientific and practical experience of specialists of different profiles by discussing the formation of a healthy lifestyle in the population, methods of disease prevention, as well as the use of drugs in the pharmacotherapy of athletes, the impact of doping drugs on the athlete’s body, modern methods and possibilities of anti-doping control.
More than 200 people participated in the event. Students of Kursk State Medical University, as well as medical students and scientists from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Blagoveshchensk, Voronezh, Orel, Lipetsk, Kazan, Maykop, China, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan made reports and published abstracts in the conference collection.
It is important to note that the plenary session was opened by 2 scientific reports from Harbin Medical College. Young scientists from China shared their research on the topic of cardiovascular disease prevention.
During the conference, 9 breakout sessions were held. The participants of the conference exchanged scientific and practical experience of specialists of different profiles, discussing the issues of formation of a healthy lifestyle, methods of disease prevention, the use of drugs in the pharmacotherapy of athletes, the impact of doping substances on the body and modern methods of anti-doping control.
The All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Healthy Lifestyle and Sports Pharmacology” became a useful event contributing to the development of science and practice in the field of health and sports.
