CELEBRATION OF INDIAN RELIGIOUS DAY “NAVARATRI” AT KSMU

Within hard times of coronavirus pandemic, being very far from home foreign students are in need of special support, including assistance of the Administration of Kursk state medical university.

Under the supervision of the members of IMI KSMU, meeting all the public health requirements, on October 18, 2020 the event, dedicated to the religious holiday Navaratri, took place at the hostel No.4. It is one of the most important Vedic holidays.

Foreign student active core from India gathered together to worship their Gods. They recited mantras, sang folk songs and performed folk dances.

Balance between cultural, religious and social factors in the educational work promotes the most productive and successful conduct of student adaptation process to the Russian living conditions.
